State Cost-Share Program
Conservation of natural resources is an important concern for all Kansans. The Division of Conservation, within the Department of Agriculture, administer programs to improve water quality, reduce soil erosion, improve water quality and conserve water. Funding from the Kansas Water Plan Fund provides support for the State Water Resources program and the Non-Point Source Pollution Control Program (NPS). The Douglas County Conservation District actively implements the SWR and the NPS under the guidelines set forth by the DOC. The state cost-share application period is currently closed and will re-open on April 1, 2017.
